Scoros International, Inc. has built and run dedicated engineering teams abroad for North American companies since 2002. Today we build AI-native teams, set up and run by us, with a written option for the client to take them in-house.

Our story

From offshore R&D to AI-native teams you own

Scoros started by building research and development teams abroad for North American technology companies. Over the years we set up engineering facilities in more than ten countries [needs confirmation] and ran more than 200 R&D projects, with teams from a dozen people to several hundred.

The work has always been the same at its core: choose the right place, hire people who meet the client's bar, and run the operation so the client can focus on the product.

Two things have changed. Companies want to own their engineering capacity, not rent it. And AI tools have changed what a strong team looks like. So we now build AI-native teams under a build-operate-transfer model, designed from day one so the client can take them in-house.

Igor Razboff

Founder and CEO · Santa Barbara, California

Igor has spent his career building teams and helping them work better. In 2002 he founded Scoros International, Inc., which has since run more than 200 research and development projects for clients, with teams ranging from a dozen people to several hundred.

Before that he ran companies himself. He was Chairman of Celerity Solutions, a public supply chain software company; Vice President of Cendant Software, a $900 million division of Cendant Corporation; CEO of Capitol Multimedia, a publicly traded company; CEO of Animation Magic, Inc., which produced 17 games; and Senior Vice President and CTO of Northern Light Group. He trained as a mathematician, with a Master's and a PhD in pure mathematics from the University of St. Petersburg.

Igor also founded Redrawn, which helps service firms redesign how they work and build AI into the new flows.

Philip Redmond

Principal [CONFIRM CURRENT]

Philip has an MBA and a PhD in pure mathematics from Harvard University and a BA in mathematics from Brown University. He spent over 25 years in consulting at The Boston Consulting Group and the LEK Partnership, where he also headed marketing for North America. As a principal and Chairman of Vannevar Management, Inc., he developed M&A transactions for technology companies and executed venture capital financings. He was a senior executive and board member at Spinnaker Corporation and has served on the board of Celerity Solutions.

Kerry MacDonald

Director, IT and Business Development [CONFIRM CURRENT]

Kerry graduated from Northeastern University with degrees in computer science and electrical engineering. He was Director of Network Operations for Vivendi-Universal Games, Director of Global Operations for Cendant Software, CTO of Capitol Multimedia, Inc., and VP of Network Systems for Northern Light, responsible for multiple development and data center locations. He has built and managed offshore engineering teams for American companies for over two decades.

Igor Razboff also runs Redrawn, a design-led AI implementation firm for service firms of 10 to 80 people. The two companies are separate: Scoros builds and runs engineering teams for mid-size companies, while Redrawn redesigns how smaller service firms work and builds AI into those workflows.
